Well, it wasn’t the best of weekends but it wasn’t too bad either. A bunch of people came over to my place for drinks on Friday night and gave my much neglected pool table some attention.

Wheeeeeeeeeeeeeeee… I’ll hopefully be attempting a new experiment in the kitchen tomorrow. I met a guy during morning tea at work today who told me that he roasts his own coffee beans. He says roasting coffee beans in a popcorn maker is a fairly easy process and produces very good coffees. This Japanese “coffee guru” pointed me towards the Sweet Maria’s website, where he got all his initial information from.

*lol* this one is for all you guys out there. Line-Kill Spirits appears to be a typical one-on-one fighting game at first. Whats unique about it however, is that all combatants are female and you score a K.O. by taking a picture of your opponents underwear… Ummm, thanks G…I think… For that matter, why does this game even interest you?

Well, it’s time for one of geekdome’s favourite award ceremonies. The Saturn Award nominee’s have been anounced. Hehe, y’all know that my vote goes to Batman Begins in any category that it got nominated in, except for “Best Supporting Actress”. Katie Holmes couldn’t act to save her life. Trying to put my bias aside, I think the movie does deserve the “Best Supporting Actor” and “Best Writer” awards at least.

Another silly, time-wasting game to add to my list. Play a baloon-hunting archer in World of Archoon. Or play one of Pépère’s other flash games.

No, no, I’m not talking about myself (after all, only the “short” part of that would be correct if I were), I’m referring to my new gearstick. You see, the height of a normal stick, the height (or lack thereof) of the driver’s seat and how close I have to get the seat to the wheel to be able to reach the pedals with my short, stumpy legs all means that my elbow is usually at a 90° or less angle. That’s not very comfortable and my elbow tends to hit the side of my seat when I shift into 2nd, 4th or reverse. So I thought that a short shift stick might help solve that problem.
