I’m back to doing some work on the Lancer. Adding neons now. I got a set of 4 neons on sale for $99. They’re normally prices at $270 so I figured it was worth it. Purple of course. Jad and I started putting them in yesterday, should finish by today I hope. We’ll only get the sides done first, the front and rear ones will be a bit more difficult to install.

I’m not the biggest Superman fan around by any means. In fact, while I do consider him an icon, I also think he’s kinda boring. So my only real interest in the upcoming Superman Returns movie is the fact that it’s a comic-based movie (and the fact that if DC screws up another movie like they did with Catwoman it’ll undo all the good Batman Begins did and spell the end of their comic-to-movie endevours). However, this “Years of Superman” trailer sure did manage to generate a little more enthusiasm in me. It’s a beautiful trailer and the scenes of Christopher Reeves and Dean Cain in the role brought up some feelings of nostalgia. The only thing that could have made it better is if that bloody patronising speech from Jor-El had been left out.

The trailer for X3 is out. If you haven’t seen it yet, check it out here. It doesn’t look as bad as I expected it to, but Hollywood is known for making trailers look good even if the movie its advertising sucks. I hope this isn’t one of those cases but I’m not holding my breath over it.
