No, no, not supercars. I’m not talking about Ferraris and Lamborghinis and such. I’m talking about SUPERHERO cars.

There once was a young woman from Perth,
Who thought drifting was the best sport on earth.
With boyfriend in tow,
She attends every show,
full of uncontained excitement and mirth.

If a Civic can do it… Hehehe, there may be hope for my Lancer yet.

Well, 3 months later, here are some of the pictures I took during the WA vs SA drift battle earlier this year. Hehehe the first one is pure smoke, don’t bother looking for a car. It took me a couple of tries to figure out that I had to click the camera about 10 seconds before the cars entered the little focus-square-thingy. I put it up just coz I thought it looked cool. All of these pictures are taken on CAT corner or the S-bend. Thats my favourite part of the course to watch… Unfortunately picture quality isn’t great coz I used a pretty cheap and shitty camera but it’s the only one that I have access to so I have to make do..

Hope the towtruck driver down at Barbagallo doesn’t see this video.

Anyone thats spent much time in my company might have heard me use the word “funner” in conversations. Jad always laughs at me when I do and quite often tells me that “funner” is not a real word. my reply is that it deserves to be a word and if a word gets used often enough eventually it starts to enter into the dictionaries and becomes a “real word”. The latest additions to the Oxford English Dictionary, which include words like pineappley, heroin chic, freakazoid, dotcom, google, air kiss, bouncebackability, carpet muncher, DVD, energizer bunny, skatepunk, wazoo, and many more, are just proof of the validity of my theory.
